Now in its 6th year, the World Junior Girls Championship will see 63 competitors from 21 countries compete for team and individual title honours. The championship was first introduced as a playing ground for the best female junior competitors in the world to come together and compete in a championship to test their skills against the world’s best.
The event celebrates Women’s golf and features promotional and educational opportunities, including a PGA of Canada Coaching Summit and the RBC Swing Event, as well as the opportunity to support and celebrate Canadian Golf Hall of Fame’s female members.
Featuring some of the best international female junior golfers in the world, the World Junior Girls Championship is known as a ‘must attend’ championship for NCAA recruiters. The championship usually sees approximately 15-20 NCAA schools in attendance, scouting the next generational talent.
The next future stars of the LPGA have played and will be seen at this championship, including Canada’s own Brooke Henderson.
